Process plan configurator
The process plan configurator is a software to create process plans and modify them individually at any time. Therefore, alternative suggestions and current decisions are always included in the planning.
In the first phase of the process plan all necessary rules, the processing sequence and the interfaces to existing applications are set down and tested.
This enables a fully automatic creation of a complex process plan. This result is the basis for further development.
After this the knowledge on alternatives is extended. Possibilities of intervention for the user are integrated where necessary. An explanation component enables the automatic rule explanation and the possibility to “try out”. Time data is included in the second part of the project to enable the exact cost calculation.
