camos christmas donation 2021

Stuttgart, 16 December 2021 - camos Software und Beratung GmbH donates the total amount of € 10,000 as a traditional Christmas donation. Support is being given to Ärzte ohne Grenzen (Doctors Without Borders), who are caring for people who are particularly at risk of covid during the pandemic, such as the chronically ill, refugees and the homeless. Another part of the donation goes to Friends-4-Friends, whose projects give children in Africa a place for a warm meal and enable education. The institution Schlupfwinkel Stuttgart, which cares for children and young people who live on the street, will also be supported with the Christmas donation.

Another part of the money will be used to expand the camos CPQ-Forrest, which was founded two years ago. Together with the organisation Treedom, another 180 trees will be planted. Simon Märkle, Managing Director at camos: "We want to make a difference not only technologically, but also socially and ecologically. With the camos CPQ forest, we want to set an example and plant trees together with small farmers in Cameroon, Colombia, Nepal, Kenya and Tanzania. In this way, we support the small farmers in preserving their livelihood and also help to absorb CO2 emissions. Meanwhile, our camos CPQ forest consists of 360 trees that have already absorbed over 60,000 kg of CO2 from the atmosphere. I look forward to seeing the forest grow further in the future."
