Starting your career with camos

In our consulting department, you will be involved in complex projects in teams working in an agile environment. Focusing technically in accordance with your individual strengths and preferences, you have the opportunity to actively support our customers either as an IT consultant or software engineer.

As an IT consultant, you will assist our customers throughout each and every project phase: from design and implementation right through to roll out of the IT solution. You will manage workshops and provide advice during the optimum implementation of our CPQ solution. As part of an agile project team, you will apply your technical expertise to create innovative solutions and adapt the CPQ solution to specific customer processes.

As a software engineer you will work with our customers to draft technical specifications, in turn experiencing the entire spectrum of the software development process. Together with your project team, you will be involved in adapting and expanding the CPQ solution, in other words you develop applications and are responsible for customising our software modules and database design.

Regardless of whether you are an IT consultant or software engineer, working with our customers – major, prestigious companies and 'hidden champions' alike – will enable you to consolidate your expertise. With increasing routine, you will take on responsibility for projects and qualify as a senior consultant or software architect.

Software and product development bring together creative minds.
As a software developer in the development department, you will work within highly qualified teams to create innovative solutions. Using our object-oriented development environment as a basis, you will design and bring to realisation new and further developments, consequently developing the tool for our product platform.

Your task within camos product development lies in constantly further developing our standard software: from the fundamental architecture and new functionalities through to intuitive and transparent user interfaces for desktop and mobile devices.

Customer support
As part of our support team, you are the first point of contact for customer queries. You will be responsible for installation support, advising users in relation to the functionality and use of our software and helping to resolve problems. As such, you are a decisive interface in the software development environment.

Quality assurance
As part of our quality assurance team, you will independently prepare and maintain our structured test plans. Bearing responsibility for module, functional and load tests, you are ultimately responsible for ensuring we meet our quality commitments.

Our 'Training' team is responsible for the preparation, development and implementation of our customer training seminars. New concepts such as webinars and e-learning formats are developed by the team and successfully applied, including within the scope of internal ongoing training.

Our 'Technical documentation' team drafts software documentation and training documents – individually tailored to the requirements of the various user groups and specifications of the output media employed.

Consequently, upon joining camos you will undergo a dedicated induction programme adapted to your own individual development. Your potential will then be shaped and optimally developed through continual exchange with your mentor during a regular weekly meeting. Our mentoring programme:
your own individual induction

Thanks to our mentors, no-one starts out at camos on their own: particularly when starting out in a new company, it is good to know you have support. That is why at camos an experienced colleague is on hand as a mentor to guide you throughout your entire first year with the company. The mentor will help you adjust to the new job, create an individual induction plan for you and familiarise you with our working methods and organisation. Above all, a mentor is a reliable reference person for any induction-related questions you have.

In addition to helping you get your bearings, your mentor is also responsible for actively supporting you in terms of your technical development. You benefit from your mentor's practical expertise and gain important tips on how to perform successfully within projects. Consequently, together you set the direction for your own career path.
