Siemens is the biggest provider of environmentally friendly technologies worldwide. More than a third of concern revenues stem from “green” products and solutions. The oil and gas industry, numerous processing industries and producers of electric power use Siemens products, systems and solutions when building their complex facilities. In the compressor business, the generation of price quotations needs to be simplified and newly structured. This has become indispensable in the current setting of a globally dynamic sales network.
The tool selected for this purpose was camos Quotation. It provides Siemens with the possibility of precisely adapting the software, point for point, to the requirements of its sales process. The product configurator by camos will supplant a bevy of semi-automated calculators, thus making the generation of quotations faster and more secure, as well as more transparent for customers.
