The company
Arburg is one of the leading providers of high-tech injection moulding machines and applications and employs more than 1,900 people worldwide. Some 1,600 work at the Lossburg plant. With 32 branches and representative offices and additional agencies, the Arburg sales and service network has a presence on all the important markets in a total of 70 countries.
The camos project
Arburg manages worldwide quotations and orders in e-business with camos Configurator. All branches can communicate with the manufacturing facility in Lossburg and with each other via the Web. Users directly access the application server in Lossburg across the Internet via a Virtual Private Network (VPN). The Product Configurator camos Configurator is the most important integration component between ERP and CRM system and SAP in the accounting system.
