The company
As world market leader, Homag provides machines and systems for the wood processing and furniture industry. The product range includes machines and systems for sawing, trimming, drilling, milling and grinding. The products are classified into Powerline, Profiline and Optimat products. For the Optimat products, different basic types are available to the customer and can be modified by corresponding additional drive systems.
The camos project
Homag prepares production jobs from customer orders with the Product Configurator camos Configurator – the number of possible product variants is thereby practically unlimited. Orders that previously required many hours are configured by the system within minutes. The savings in order processing by using camos Configurator are up to 80%. The construction execution times have been greatly reduced and possible sources of error minimised.
