After graduating as an industrial engineer in Karlsruhe, Michael Hüllenkremer worked as a research assistant at the Fraunhofer Institute for Labour Economics and Organisation [Fraunhofer Institut für Arbeitswirtschaft und Organisation] (under Prof. Dr. Bullinger) in the field of "knowledge-based systems for technical corporate divisions".
As part of his practically oriented focus of work he played a significant role in developing a knowledge-based process plan creation system (CAPP) and introduced this solution in several well-known companies such as Siemens, Mercedes Benz, MBB and Steyr-Daimler-Puch.
After founding camos, whilst being responsible for sales and projects, during the following years he helped the company to become market leader in the field of computer-aided process planning systems and production configuration solutions.
While studying information technology in Stuttgart and Furtwangen, Hans-Jürgen Lehnert also worked at the Institute for Labour Economics and Organisation.
He developed the first knowledge-based system for creating process plans which has been implemented in the automotive manufacturing industry for many years. The products engin, enginObject, Secon, camos Develop, camos Selling, camos SalesCenter and camos Quotation were developed under his management.
Together with Michael Hüllenkremer, he founded camos Software und Beratung GmbH in 1986 and is responsible for the divisions Development and Technical Product Management.
On 1 January 2014, the successful technology company took another managing partner on board, Mr Simon Märkle, who is responsible for projects and consultancy.
After graduating in automation engineering at Ulm University of Applied Sciences, Mr Märkle initially directed and supervised IT projects in a medium-sized mechanical engineering company.
He has been working in consultancy at camos since 2000. He has successfully managed large and innovative projects in machinery and plant engineering, among others for companies such as Voith, MAN, KSB and Festo. He has been manager of the consultancy department since 2008, with full power of attorney from 2009 to 2013.
In 2012, the CRM software camos SalesCenter was awarded the Innovation Prize IT "Best of 2012" by the initiative Medium Sized Companies in the category CRM, customer relations management.Find out more
