Since 1986 we have developed successful software solutions; to start with for the generation of routing software and following that, for product configuration and generating price quotations for internationally active companies - invariably with the claim that we can set new trends through innovation. camos developed the very first decisionmaking table-oriented system for generating flow charts, was thus market leader and was the first company to supply these systems for personal computers. camos developed fundamental methods for product configuration of complex products. We are also one of the first providers for configuration solutions in the Internet and of completely global solutions. Even today, camos is often the forerunner of innovations, e.g. we implemented the product configurator solutions on iPads.
Our four founding members, Gerd W. Dobler, Klaus H. Viehmann, Hans-Jürgen Lehnert and Michael Hüllenkremer, started with focal points CAD consulting and software for flow charts. Already two years later, there were 10 employees working for camos.
Participation at trade fairs and conferences as of 1988 and since 1990 a happily preserved tradition of annual camos user meetings continue to document our striving towards close, ongoing contact with our customers and their working reality. Also since 1990 there has been a camos hotline, which clears up all questions bilaterally and in expert-oriented dialogue with customers.
What does the future have in store? We know the way to reach it: continuing at a high level and with the highest possible claims to develop variant configuration solutions for demanding customers. Jointly continuing to grow, it fills with joy and satisfaction - and motivates our action every day anew.
